I am using my Quickcam Pro 9000 (MN V-UBM46 / PN 860-000109) and Windows 7 RTM x64, along with Logitech Webcam Software 1.0. I have problem that when ever I use my webcam along with mike, my Pc totally freeze and there is not sound produced by my sound driver. The entire Audio device stuck and I need to reboot my system. When I restart my Pc a message appear” Window Audio Service stop responding” And the sound device on Web cam stop receiving audio. I a using Win 7 and sound driver and I download it from realtek.

I also tried the UVC driver for the windows but the result was the same. I can only get the solution in two ways .Firstly, when I disable the mike from the device manager. Secondly, I completely unplug the camera.

Is there any one can help me to resolve this problem?

Hi friend!

I am facing the same problem with my Windows. When I use any Audio/ Video software like Skype My microphone do not work and stuck. Then a message display that your window is unable to display log off sound. Eventually I shut down all the applications.

It looks a very common problem because Logitech built-in mic does not show compatibility with the sound card drivers in my computer. I do not want to disable my sound card . I think me should buy a new microphone which can easily fix into my sound card. Is there any other helpful option?

According to Logitech, Quickcam Pro 9000 is well-matched with Windows 7 but I have still a problem which is very disappointing. I think the problem is with the Logitech. I recently buy a new computer but I am still unable to use my web cam. I was working well with Win XP. How I can be able to enjoy my cam is there anyone can help me?

I am suffering with the same problem. I have Realtek AC97 sound card running on Win7x64. When I install my cam it freezes my audio device. If I restart and run Cam App work but again sound freeze

Hey ,

I am happy to tell you that I got the solution of my problem. I simply removed the Quickcam Pro with a Microsoft LifeCam. No more clash and difficulty. You must try it.
